A Lifelong Passion for Transport: My Journey to Founding Verrdi Transport Consultancy Ltd.
My career in the UK transport industry began in 1993, a journey that started as an HGV driver. This hands-on experience, working for various agencies and in full-time positions, gave me invaluable firsthand knowledge of the industry from the ground up.
The new millennium brought new opportunities. I decided to advance my career by earning my Transport Manager Qualification and an HNC in Business Studies. These qualifications led to a role as a Driving Recruitment Consultant at a national recruitment agency. Over the next 17 years, I worked my way up to Branch Manager, where I was responsible for the driving and industrial recruitment divisions. This role allowed me to build lasting relationships with a wide range of clients, from local companies to major blue-chip corporations, all while helping them find qualified transport and logistics professionals.
In 2019, I founded Verrdi Transport Consultancy Ltd. to apply my extensive experience in a new way. Initially, our focus was on providing Driver CPC training, but we quickly saw a need for more comprehensive transport compliance services. Drawing on over 30 years of experience in the haulage and logistics industry, we have
diversified our services to offer complete, 360-degree support to hauliers across the UK.
